Celebrities switch on KD Christmas lights

Having recently completed their installation of Christmas decorations across the nations shopping centres KD Decoratives have again wowed audiences with their magical displays. With a little help from some well-known celebrities, this year's Christmas 'switch-on' has been bigger than ever.

Trafford Centre Christmas lights were switched on by X-Factor stars JLS, who performed their hit single 'Beat Again' to a screaming crowd. Britain's Got Talent finalists Stavros Flatley also performed, as well as pop-star Chipmunk. (see video below)

International superstar Mariah Carey inaugurated the Christmas festivities at Westfield's White City Shopping Centre, London. This year, KD installed a 15 metres gleaming white palace, which soared above the immense crowd of spectators. Let's hope Santa and Mariah will feel quite at home in it.

Proudly, KD have decorated their home town of Huddersfield with a stunning new display. Star Trek and X-Men actor Patrick Stewart resided over the proceedings for the big switch-on. (pictures below).

KD's Winter Wonderland grotto at Bluewater in Kent was opened by Little Britain's David Walliams. The grotto is KD's largest outside installation to date and includes a giant Christmas tree which sits majestically on top of a huge iceberg.

Braehead Shopping Centre, Glasgow celebrated KD Christmas lights switch-on with WWE superstars MVP, Mark Henry and Diva Melina. This year, Braehead has brand new grotto from KD Decoratives including 4D cinema and a giant Christmas tree.

KD Decoratives are proud to install Christmas decorations across more than 100 shopping centres and venues nationally and internationally. 2009 has been another magical year and a spectacular star-filled switch-on. KD wishes a very merry Christmas to all.
