With an ever growing business we have for a number of years now been looking for a suitable space to expand in to which will give us more room. We store all the decorations that are owned by shopping centres
that have to be serviced every year and we also needed room for our dressing and electrical teams to build new schemes in a good environment. It takes the two teams all year to service our customer
decorations. Servicing involves cleaning, checking of lights and PAT
testing. Having more room to carry out this work greatly helps with
logistics.
Time has also been a crucial factor as to move all stock during the year would have been an even bigger undertaking. So, we are very pleased to be the owners of our new property in Horbury near Wakefield, which gives us an extra 50,000 sq foot of storage space, which we were able to move into as the stock was returned from Centres in January this year.
Each Christmas over 100 articulated lorries of stock are installed into shopping centres throughout the UK and with individual bays for our customers stock and 4 loading bays for our articulated lorries it makes loading and unloading of large and often fragile decoration much easier.
It is wonderful to have finally found these new premises and to have
room to grow.
