Rope & Machine Access

Much of KD Decoratives installation work (Christmas decorations, grottos, theming and ride installations) require rope access technicians. This is why we have a developed a separate company called KD Access Ltd, compromising of a team of experts specialising in gaining access to the most inaccessible places. All access technicians have certified qualification and are overseen by directors who are IRATA Level 3 supervisors.

Working strictly within the guidelines issued by the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA) to us, nothing is impossible, nowhere is inaccessible. Our scope of work varies from high level cleaning to geo technical rock drilling, delicate installations to pre-demolition preparations. In particular we offer the following:

Engineering Surveys

These include conditions surveys, structural measurements, movement monitoring, such as for cracks and subsidence and investigative exploration.

Maintenance & Repairs

Mastics and sealants, brickwork repairs, cleaning and painting.

Construction and Installation

Anchors – location and testing, cable trays & ducting, signs, advertising and decorations, cladding and glazing, access safety systems.
